When it comes to shopping for clothes, I like to think that I'm making an investment. I'm not really one who goes and buys something because it's trendy. Granted, I do have some trendy pieces in my closet which I'm waiting on to be back "in." For the most part, I want what I have in my closet to last for years!
My quest for longevity in classic items or "never going out-of-style" fashion is perhaps the reason why I have always loved GAP as well as its brands Banana Republic and even Old Navy. I even worked at Old Navy for about a year as a Merchandising Specialist, which I regretfully didn't show up on my last day of work for personal reasons. But, we won't get into that.
