- Hearing Justin Timberlake songs from his "Justified" album.
- Seeing old selfies that were taken with a real camera.
- Watching Filipino teleseryes.
- Talking to my mom about the Philippines.
- Finding old photographs on Photobucket and looking through them for hours.
- Also, finding and looking through my old yearbooks that I helped make.
(Yearbook club, wasssuuppp?)
- Logging into LinkedIn and seeing my first crush under "People You May Know." haha
- This Myspace angle.
- Going to the smoothie stand at the mall where, at one time or another, all of my friends worked after school.
- Finding an old notebook with notes from a kid I used to sit next to in class.
- Actually reading those notes and realizing that kid liked me. I mean, why else would he give me coupons to go bowling? And then, ask me to go bowling? haha
- Watching anime with my older cousin Elaine and younger brother Johan. We were like the Three Musketeers growing up.
- Finding my last blog post about high school:
I am so grateful that I never really had to deal with too much drama. I never found myself in some awkward predicament. Thankfully, if by chance I did, I had people there who never hesitated to steer me away from all of that. After everything, I learned that my most valuable possessions are my will, dignity, and strength. But, without good people guiding me and helping me grow...I would have had NONE of that.
Dear High School Class of 2015,
Your youth is just beginning.
Trust me, I'm still holding onto it.
