My routine is slowly changing again. As a matter of fact, it's always changing. I know that some people are a little apprehensive about posting something like this because it might be too personal. For me, I just think it gives people a little more insight into the person behind this blog -- me.
Typical Mornings
0500 Wake up, stretch, get the blood pumping or else I'll be a sloth all day.
0530 Make breakfast that is always intended to be healthy but sometimes ends up being rice, eggs, and Jufran.
0600 Shower, start to get ready, and clean up.
0630 Finish getting ready, watch the morning news with a cup of black coffee and a glass of room temperature water.
0700 Start the car to get it warm. If it's a warm day, head out early.
0730 My commute to work is fairly short. I'm lucky, and I also live in a relatively small town.
WORK HOURS On certain days, I stay at work until it's time for me to get to my evening class. University is literally down the road. Most days, I work an hour to an hour and a half past my normal schedule.
AFTER WORK Some days, I can never gauge when, I spend time on campus. Most of my classes are self-paced and I've only got one regular class that meets weekly. However, I still like to be on campus. It's kind of like my "me-time."
BACK AT HOME This is my favorite part of the day because I feel like I can relax. Most of the time, it's filled with hanging out with the kiddo, watching our favorite shows, and playing games on ABC Mouse. He has an affinity for recording himself on an iPhone camera. So, a lot of the time he jokes around with me to make his videos.
So, like, where does blogging and writing and all that creative stuff fit in?
Between a full university schedule, full-time work, and home life, I honestly don't know. Blogging isn't a full-time thing for me yet. It's really just a hobby. I do have to squeeze it into my schedule. It's hard, but I enjoy it. I'll tell you what though, whatever it is that you love to do and what you want to keep on doing, you make time for it. You'll fall behind and make slower progress, but you'll keep on keepin' on and move forward. That's my philosophy about all of this.
That's a look at a "typical" day-to-day, albeit there may be some caveats every now and then. I like to think that this is my routine, but I can never really guess what my days are going to be like as much as I know where I'll be.
