How's your week going? It's Thursday in my neck of the woods which means we made it over the hump! I feel like a load is being taken off of my shoulders right now. I know that all of us have things we stress about, even those little things we don't have control over. Still, we've got to make some time to appreciate everything that has gone well.
This week I am grateful for:
- Filling out my FAFSA, although I've dreaded the thought of resorting to student loans again. At least I can mark off one goal off my list. The process was much faster than I thought it would be and I am just thankful that I won't have to think about tuition at least for next semester.
- Being on top of deadlines at work and school! Even if I haven't finished my final projects yet for this semester, I did get a head start and I am glad I am saving myself from all-nighters. I am absolutely delighted that this semester is almost over and I couldn't thank God enough that I was able to push through it as stressful and draining as it was.
- Snow! On the first day of December, Anchorage, Alaska saw it's first snowfall this winter season. Finally! This is the latest snowfall we've had that I can remember. We usually have snow before Halloween, but for whatever reason (global warming, whatever) the snow completely missed us and went down to the continental US first. I love the snow and winter even if it comes with horrid temperatures. Now I feel like everyone is really in the holiday spirit.
I know these are little things, but I'm happy with taking small steps and putting pieces together for the bigger picture.
I hope your week has been going well! What are you thankful for today? I'd love to know!
